4. Third-Party Tools and Technologies
To provide our services and analyze our traffic, we use trusted third-party service providers.
A. HubSpot
We use HubSpot for our CRM, marketing automation, live chat, and meeting scheduling.
- Data Storage: HubSpot stores data associated with our portal on servers located in the European Union (Ireland).
- Functionality: When you fill out a form or use the chat on our site, this data is processed by HubSpot to help us manage our relationship with you.
- HubSpot may use tracking pixels (such as Facebook or LinkedIn pixels) loaded via their platform to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
B. Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-V19RS00XSP), loaded directly via gtag.js, to understand how visitors interact with our website.
- Consent-gated: The Google Analytics script is only downloaded and executed after you accept analytics cookies. If you reject them, or simply have not answered the banner yet, no Google Analytics script, request or cookie is created.
- Google Consent Mode v2: Before any tag is allowed to run, we set every Google storage category (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) to "denied" by default, and only update them to "granted" for the categories you accept.
- Privacy-first: GA4 anonymizes IP addresses by default, meaning your full IP address is never stored by Google.
- This data helps us analyze trends, administer the site, and track users' movements around the site in an aggregated manner.
5. Cookies and Your Consent Choices
Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site.
The first time you visit docktraffic.com, a consent banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set before you make a choice, and no analytics or marketing script is loaded until you accept the matching category.
- Strictly Necessary (always active): Required for the website to function (e.g., security, network management) and to remember the cookie choice you make. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga and _ga_V19RS00XSP), used to measure traffic and improve the site. Pre-selected in the cookie settings dialog, but no Google script loads until you accept.
- Marketing: HubSpot and social media pixels (LinkedIn/Facebook), used to measure visitor behavior and ad performance. Pre-selected in the cookie settings dialog, but no pixel loads until you accept.
Your choice is stored locally in your own browser under the key "docktraffic.consent.v1". It is not sent to us or to any third party, and it applies only to the browser and device you made it on.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing analytics consent stops the Google Analytics script from loading on your next page view; you may also delete any cookies already set through your browser settings.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We only share data with the third-party processors mentioned above (HubSpot, Google) for the strict purpose of facilitating our services. These parties are contractually obliged to keep your data confidential and secure.
7. Data Retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
